T.M. Revolution, cont.
Update on the T.M. Revolution concert.
Quick Summary: I didn’t go
Longer Not Summary:
After finding out about this, I went down to the conbini at 2:30 in the morning to see if I could buy tickets. It ends up that they don’t sell tickets on the day of the performance (I think they stop the day before).
Back home, I looked online and saw that these tickets went on sale back in November of 2008. Also, the rest of the venues on this tour were all sold out. Even with all of this, I figured what the heck and decided to walk down to the venue, the Fukushima Culture Center/福島県文化センター, myself. Now, the culture center is a less than five minute bike ride from my apartment, and I’ve been there for some events before, so I know the building. The hall he’s playing in has 1700 seats, and once I arrived at the Culture Center it looked like there were around 2,000 people waiting.
Well, guess I won’t be the creepy older male amidst a bunch of fertile and overly excited high school girls after all. Yes, as expected, the vast majority of concertgoers were a bunch of high school girls, pretty much just like the Mix Speaker’s Inc. concert that Beth and I went to last year.
So that’s that. The concert should be starting right about when I post this.
