Korean Unicycle Parts
Let’s get this straight.
I’m trying to buy unicycle parts from a Korean company (warning: you might get extremely pumped by going to that site) that uses Won. The Korean company just opened up an international site that lists prices in Euros. I’m paying with my US Chase bank account that has funds I converted from Yen to US Dollars. Due to a value added tax for shipping outside of Korea, I must use the international site to place the order. Unfortunately, their credit card processor only accepts drawing on Euro funds, so they refused my transaction.
I’m currently seeing if it’s ok for me to PayPal the money to them in Euros.
So then, I live in Japan and get paid in Yen, convert my money to US Dollars to keep at my US bank, am converting that to Euros to pay a Korean company that will then convert it to Won. Yay for currency exchanging.
Psht, I could just take a quick day-trip over there and pay in person.
