Yesterday during cleaning time some kid comes up to me and we start talking to each other. Shortly into the conversation he starts saying “Konnichiwa,” and pausing like he was expecting me to repeat. So depsite that we had already been talking in both Japanese and English, I figured that hey, if he really wants to pretend to teach me elementary Japanese, I’ll go for it.

“Konnichiwa”
“Konnichiwa”
“Ohayo gozaimasu”
“Ohayo gozaimasu”
“Konbanwa”
“Konbanwa”
“Chikubi”
“Chikubi?”

Once I said “Chikubi?” all the kids started laughing. So of course, we did the same thing again.

“Konnichiwa”

“Ohayo gozaimasu”
“Ohayo gozaimasu”
“Konbanwa”
“Konbanwa”
“Chikubi”
“…chikubi?”

Once again, laughter. I pull out my DS and look up ‘chikubi’. It means ‘nipple’.

Damn. No wonder they thought it was so funny.

Fast forward to today. Once again, it’s cleaning time. He asks me if I have a girlfriend, I say yes, so we then start talking about Beth. Shortly after beginning said conversation, he stops, pondering. He then asks, “Masturbate… no?”

He continued, “I like very much.”
The other kids are laughing. Hell, I’m cracking up.
“Do you like?”
I said something like “I’m sure it’s very enjoyable,” after which the kid pats my shoulder then smacks my ass.
